工作内容
Assist in replying to information requests concerning records and archives of the Organization.File and retrieve records in all archival series.
Receive visitors to the Archives Reading Room, help them to identify and search requested archival materials.
Enter information on the archival holdings in relevant archival description tools.
Assist in organizing transfers of documents from different units of the Secretariat to the UNESCO Archives.
Assist in preparing records for elimination in accordance with the established retention schedules.
工作要求
EDUCATIONCompleted secondary, technical and/or vocational education.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience with archives and/or records management service in organizing, structuring and providing information.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Excellent organizational, filing and coordination skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Genuine interest in records and archives.
Attention to detail, meticulousness.
Sense of commitment and reliability.
Ability to work as part of a team, to take initiatives and to provide quality and timely support services.
Ability to enter structured information (metadata and descriptions) and search archival repositories databases and other finding aids.
Capability of using relevant IT tools.
LANGUAGES
Excellent knowledge of English or French and good working knowledge of the other language.
